JULIAN has had a keen interest in lettering for many years. When her family grew up she took the opportunity to attend a calligraphy course and since then her love for letters has continued to grow. She joined the ‘Oxford Scribes’ and ‘The Society of Scribes and Illuminators’ and attended their workshops.

Over the past 30 years Julian has moved on from traditional pen and paper calligraphy to being one of a few artists to experiment in lettering on glass. Fascinated by the effects she could produce she continued to develop her skill, creating unique and beautiful pieces of work enjoyed by many worldwide.

Now an associate fellow of The Guild of Glass Engravers, Julian is a highly respected artist; her work has been shown in exhibitions throughout England and France and can been seen in churches in Oxford, Michelmersh (Hampshire) and Nottingham (The Workers Memorial Window).

Any piece of glass or crystal can be engraved to produce a unique gift to celebrate weddings, christenings, birthdays, anniversaries or any other occasion; Special pieces can be blown to commission.
